“We’ve been using Ashland Pet Concierge for cat sitting for seven years. They are absolutely one of the best in the industry! Carolyn and her team are passionate about pet caring and pay great attention to details for each pet, which is super important as each pet has their own personality and needs to be treated uniquely. “I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ashland Pet Concierge. They take such wonderful care of our kitties when we go away. Recently we got in a bind, being impacted by the CrowdStrike outage, and scrambling for a way to return home when our flight was cancelled. The team was so understanding and able to work with us to fill the gap during an incredibly busy summer vacation season. We are truly thankful. Highly recommended!!”

Hi there, I’m Alex! I thrive on being organized, thorough and having great communication skills.
I’ve been in the pet industry since 2012 and have loved every second of it. My animal family over the years has consisted of dogs, many rats, Guinea pigs and ferret friends. I’m also very experienced with reptiles, aves, aquatics and other pocket pets as well as feline and canine companions.
I gained tons of experience from my time at Petsmart and Petco, as well as personal experience with my animal family and am very knowledgeable providing direction to care for any of your medicated loved ones.
I’ve always had quite an instinctive connection with all animals and have been able to form a bond with even the most high-pressure furry friends. I am also an avid gardener and can assure the utmost care of your plant babies as well.
Alex is working remotely in her role as manager and has been a dedicated pet caretaker/manager with APC since 2017.

Hi, I’m Jenna! I was born and raised in beautiful Durban, South Africa, and recently relocated to Ashland, Massachusetts with my husband, our two energetic boys, and our beloved fluffs, Summer and Stormy.
Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Before becoming a mom, I spent many years hand-rearing kittens and helping them find their forever homes — a passion that brought me so much joy and fulfillment.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for a wide variety of animals, from cats and dogs to guinea pigs, rats, chickens, and even pigs. Every animal I’ve welcomed into my life has left a lasting pawprint on my heart.

Emily grew up in Hopkinton, MA. and from a young age started asking her neighbors if she could walk their dogs because she loved them so much! Eventually in late middle school and early high school she would start pet sitting and walking for a various number of people in her neighborhood. She absolutely adores any kind of pet but especially loves dogs!
Emily is currently a student in Colorado studying geology and she hopes to become an oceanographer one day! Besides spending time with animals, Emily likes to bake and hike.

Hi, I’m Karyn! I’ve been an Ashland resident for over 25 years, and animals have always been a central part of my life. Over the years, I have cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, guinea pigs, and even hedgehogs — both in our home and through dedicated pet‑sitting work. Hands‑on experience has given me a strong understanding of how to support pets with different personalities, routines, and needs, so they feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely loved.
Prior to my entry into high tech work, I used to work with my mom in her pet sitting venture based right in Ashland, and this taught me how crucial trust, communication, and consistency is in taking care of a person’s pet. As an Ashland Bark Park board member, I was among the main people behind the creation of the Ashland Bark Park - helping to create a safe and enriching space in town.
I am also familiar with reinforcing basic training cues thanks to my exposure to professional dog‑training environments, so I am comfortable supporting routines requested to help maintain consistency while you’re away.
