About the Owner

Carolyn McGee has a deep love of pets and an innate connection with them. She has a gift for connecting with animals. They respond to her almost immediately.

Carolyn spent years in high tech manufacturing yet she knew that it wasn't her true calling. She discovered her passion was in caring for the pets of people who needed to be temporarily away from them.

Carolyn graduated from the MA state sponsored Entreprenual Training Program and started the Ashland Pet Concierge to provide in home pet sitting and peace of mind to people when they could not take their beloved pets with them.

Carolyn enjoys helping to deepen the bond that exists between pets and their people. She is a Reiki Master who specializes in pets and the people that love them.

Carolyn is involved with BayPath Humane Society, MSPCA-Angell, The National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS) and various pet fund raisers in the area.

In her free time she enjoys deepening her bond with her kids, working in her gardens and many spiritual activities.

Ashland Pet Concierge is Insured and Bonded through NAPPS by Business Insurers of the Carolinas.

Reiki is universal life energy and is a noninvasive healing method. A trained person acts as a channel to receive healing energy, which is spiritual in nature. The practitioner acts as a conduit to pass the energy from the universe to the recipient. This can be done via the hands, or, in the case of a practitioner trained in distance healing, by thought.

Reiki is ideal for use with animals because it is gentle and noninvasive. It doesn't cause stress, discomfort, or pain, and yet yields powerful results. Animals respond intuitively to Reiki's power to heal emotional, behavioral, and physical illnesses and injuries.
